Product Description

Add a distinctive handcrafted touch to your wardrobe with this Men’s Ajrakh Kantha Jacket, made from 100% cotton with a comfortable cotton lining. The jacket features an intricate Ajrakh-inspired print combining traditional geometric, floral, and or name motifs in rich earthy tones.

The standout Mustard Yellow base is complemented by maroon, red, black, ivory, and olive green detailing, creating a vibrant yet sophisticated ethnic look. Hand Kantha stitching adds texture and artisanal character to the jacket with pockets

Designed with a classic collar, full sleeves, and front button closure, this versatile jacket can be styled over shirts, kurtas, T-shirts, or simple ethnic outfits.

CRAFT- 1. Kantha is a centuries-old quilted embroidery that originated in Bangladesh. It is executed on layers of vintage sarees that are stitched together with hand-done running stitches.

2. Ajrakh block printing, practiced in Ajrakhpur, is a centuries-old art form from Gujarat, India, that involves intricate geometric and floral designs hand-stamped onto fabric using natural dyes.

Tamarind seed powder is mixed with alum and then boiled for one hour to produce a printing paste for the red areas of the design.
